Privacy Policy

This policy covers erietechnologyservices.com and purchases of its digital products. The short version: I collect only what's needed to sell you a file and support you afterward, and I don't sell or share it.
What is collected
- At checkout (processed by Stripe): your name, email address, billing country and postal code, and payment details. Payment card details go to Stripe and are never seen or stored by Erie Technology Services. Stripe's handling of that data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
- From Stripe, after purchase: your email address, what you bought, and the amount, kept in the Stripe account as the record of sale.
- On the website: the site is static and sets no cookies of its own. The host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, including IP address and pages requested, for a limited time for security and reliability.
- If you email me: whatever you send, kept in the business mailbox.
How it is used
- To deliver the files you bought and to support you if something doesn't work.
- To send you an updated version of a product you purchased, if one is released.
- To process refunds and respond to disputes.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations.
No marketing emails are sent unless you ask for them, and your information is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone other than the service providers named here (Stripe for payments, Netlify for hosting, Google Workspace for email).
Retention
Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, typically seven years. Email correspondence is kept as long as it's useful for supporting you.
Your choices
Email eric@erietechnologyservices.com to ask what information is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted where the law allows. Purchase records needed for tax purposes may be retained after a deletion request.
